Haber Could Be Involved Tomorrow

20 November 2015

Boss hoping striker will play a part against Peterborough after returning from International duty.

After returning from International duty with Canada, Marcus Haber will be assessed in today’s final training session to decide whether he will be included in our match day squad to face Peterborough. Haber helped Canada to a superb 1-0 win over Honduras when coming on as an impact substitute, but he wasn’t used in the follow up qualifier in El Salvador.

Haber has returned to training today and although never ideal after a considerable amount of travelling, boss Steve Davis knows the value of having a target man in his squad. Haber had been forming a promising partnership with young Callum Saunders in a 4-4-2 formation and it is a shame that the International weekend prevented that from continuing at Bradford last weekend.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “We will have a look at Marcus today, in our final training session. He has only returned this morning, so we have to check how he is and how is feeling. He hasn’t played that much in terms of game time but he has had to travel a lot and train.

He added: “Depending on how he is will determine what part he will play this weekend if any. He is fine and looks okay then of course I would look to include him because we don’t have any like him in the club.”
