Billy Bingham completes first 90 minutes against Hull.
Crewe Alexandra Billy Bingham completed his first 90 minutes against Hull City in the FA Under-21 Premier League Cup last night since suffering a hamstring injury at Wigan back in August. Bingham was one of Crewe’s stand-out players as we narrowly exited the competition with a 2-1 defeat.
It is a bonus to have Bingham back in contention, especially with the more experienced David Fox ruled out with a back injury.
Steve Davis told the club’s official web-site: “Billy completed his first 90 minutes against Hull last night and he had a good game. He was one of our better players on the night, as was Chris Atkinson.
“The midfield is looking a bit healthier now with Billy back and Jonah back. Foxy is jogging again, so hopefully we will be able to do some light training next week. It would be nice to have them all available for selection for once.”
