Ben Garratt is double player-of-the-year award winner.

Crewe Alexandra would like to thank all those supporters, sponsors and staff who made the end of season awards evening another successful event.


The club’s goalkeeper Ben Garratt was the recipient of the two main awards on the night. The England Youth International was the double winner of the Player-of-the-Year award, as voted for by the supporters and the Players-Player of the year ahead of midfielder Anthony Grant and full-back Ollie Turton.



Grant was also runner-up as voted by the supporters, with the on-loan Jamie Ness claiming third place.



James Jones won breakthrough player of the year ahead of his young team-mates, George Cooper and James Baillie.



Goal of the season went to Greg Leigh for his wonderful strike against Scunthorpe and Fan of the Year went to the brilliant Barbara Smith, 87, who has been attending Alex games for 70 years.
