Uche Ikpeazu aiming to repay Alex fans with goals and good performances
Uche Ikpeazu is aiming to return to form as soon as possible after his surprise return to Crewe Alexandra. The Watford striker has signed on loan until the end of the season after his loan move at Doncaster Rovers was cut short.
Steve Davis acted quickly to bring the 20-year-old back to Gresty Road and Ikpeazu is delighted to be back at a place that he refers to be ‘like home’.
Uche told Crewe Alex Player: “It is just great to be back at Crewe. It is like being home for me. I’ve experienced somewhere else and it is just good to back at Crewe.
“I know the environment here, the manager believes in me, all the staff believe in me and the fans believe me. They all make me so welcome and I just to play games, score goals and repay the fans for being so good to me.
“I just want to go out there and do what I do. I think I can get back to where I was before I left almost immediately. I’ve some great banter with the lads already and if I’ve involved this weekend then I will be doing my best to help the team. I just want to add to what we have already got here.”
