Liam Nolan not to be involved after sustaining ankle injury for 21s

Nolan, who recently made a substitute appearance away at Bristol City was not risked for either the Under-21s trip to Millwall played earlier today.

Crewe Alexandra midfielder Liam Nolan has been ruled out of this weekend's game at Sheffield United after he picked up an untimely ankle injury against Queens Park Rangers on Monday night. Crewe lost the Under-21 fixture 3-2 and although Nolan was able to complete the 90 minutes at Gresty Road, he has struggled with the injury since.
