Youth team defender joins Dabbers for a month

Crewe Alexandra Scholar Jon Moran has linked up with Nantwich Town on a one-month loan deal to sample his first taste of senior football.

The 17-year-old signed his deal on Saturday morning and made his Dabbers debut that same afternoon in a 1-0 home defeat to Rushall Olympic, picking up the man of the match award.

Moran was an ever-present in Alex Morris' all conquering FA Youth Cup side that made it all the way to the Quarter-Finals, knocking out Arsenal along the way, before eventually bowing out to Manchester City.
