James called up by Scotland for Elite Round tournament in Austria

Crewe Alexandra’s midfield maestro James Jones has been selected in the Scotland U19 squad for their upcoming Euro U19 fixtures in Austria.

The Tartan Army are set to face the hosts on Thursday 26th March, Italy on Saturday 28th March and Croatia on the 31st March.

Jones will link up with the Scotland squad on Saturday 21st March, after The Alex’s home game with Oldham and will return to the Club on Wednesday 1st April ahead of the Good Friday clash with Crawley.

The 19-year-old will miss the Sky Bet League One trip to Sheffield United, scheduled for Saturday 28th March.
