Take part as part of a Crewe Alexandra riding team between 12-14th June
Sign up to Prostate Cancer UK’s London to Amsterdam Challenge as club champion and you could lead your team into Europe in June 2015.
The ride
we kick off our 145 mile ride on Friday morning at the Matchroom Stadium, home of Leyton Orient FC. The ride soon leaves London behind and heads into Essex, with a half time break at Colchester FC.12-14 June 2015Taking place
The final part of day one takes us on to Harwich where we board the overnight ferry to Hook of Holland.
The second half of the Challenge gives you the time to get to know your team mates as we ride through the Netherlands on cycle tracks. As we enter Amsterdam, crossing canal after canal, we finish at the famous Ajax Stadium, ahead of a Saturday night relaxing or celebrating in the city.
We return to the UK on the Sunday morning by train to Brussels and then the Eurostar to King's Cross St Pancras.
Being a club champion
As club champion, you’ll bring together a team of cyclists to represent your club. It’s a great opportunity to make new friends at your club and across The Football League. Plus revel in the challenge of leading your club to the top of the fundraising league table!

You’re a loyal supporter with strong connections at your club
You’re a good organiser, communicator and able to motivate your team
You want to help raise money to save men’s lives
Cycling ability is not important!
As club champion you’ll have the full backing of your club and Prostate Cancer UK’s #L2A team.
What’s included in the ride?
Fully supported ride with guide, medics, bike mechanics and support vehicles
All meals (excluding breakfast on the first morning and lunch on the Sunday)
Celebration meal in Amsterdam
Accommodation – en-suite cabin on ferry and 3-4 star hotel in Amsterdam
Transport – Ferry crossing and return travel train to London via Eurostar
Plus as a club champion you’ll also receive the following benefits
No registration fee for club champions, just a commitment to raise £1,200 in sponsorship. This covers your event costs and helps fund our life saving work. (standard entry riders will pay an up-front registration fee of £149 and commit to raise £1,000 in sponsorship)
