Perry Ng Could Go Out On Loan

21 January 2015

Young defender could be allowed to move out on loan for the experience

Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that he would be prepared to allow young defender Perry Ng to go out on loan. The Academy graduate certainly caught the eye in pre-season and has been a regular for the club’s Development Squad. He has been named on the substitutes’ bench for the first-team squad this season but is yet to mark his first-team debut.

Ng, 18, who can operate at either full-back or at centre-half, would be allowed to move out on a loan to gain first-team football to aid his development.

The Crewe boss told the club’s official web-site: “I’ve spoken to Perry and we would be prepared to loan him out for a period so he can get some experience. We are trying to get him as high as we possibly can.

“We will step up that up during the window and see if we can get him some game time. We could consider doing that with some others but I won’t let us go short in numbers.

“Liam Nolan has been off with illness and has looked rusty. Billy Waters has had a hamstring injury, Brad Inman has struggled with his back after coming back from injury and Callum (Saunders) has been ill so we have still had a few out.”
