says his players have the perfect opportunity to bounce back at near neighbours Port Vale.Steve Davis says there is no time for his squad to dwell on the weekend defeat at Notts County. Crewe Alexandra lost 2-1 late on to Shaun Derry’s side at Meadow Lane as our mini-run of four games unbeaten came to an end, but the Alex boss
Crewe will aim to repeat last season’s win at Vale Park and in doing complete a League double on our rivals for the first time in our history.
Steve told the club’s official web-site: “We won’t dwell on the Notts County game. We know where we need to improve and now we have a week to prepare for the Port Vale game.
“It is another game and a chance to pick up points but we all know what it means to the supporters. It is a great game to be involved in and it is the perfect opportunity to bounce back.
He added: “It is the type of game to get everyone going and see us kick on again. It is one we always look forward to.”
