Crewe Hoping To Have Grant Available

Alex hopeful of having Grant and Davis fit for Notts County trip

Crewe Alexandra are hopeful that influential midfielder Anthony Grant will be fit to face Notts County this weekend after suffering with a hip flexor injury. Grant was affected by the injury during the 3-1 win over Gillingham at the weekend by managed to complete the 90 minutes.



The competitive midfield is undergoing treatment at Reaseheath today but he is expected to train again on Thursday and declare himself fit and available for the trip to Nottingham.



Crewe also expect to have current captain Harry Davis available for the weekend despite him losing one of his teeth after an unintended clash with the Gillingham striker Cody McDonald.


Davis has attended the club dentist over the last couple of days and is expected to participate in training today.



Brad Inman is also training after overcoming a virus. He has lost some weight and has visited a specialist due to problems with his stomach following the illness.


Defender George Ray is also available after serving his suspension following his red card at Oldham.
