Ross Returns To Derby County

Goalkeeper returns to Rams after his one-month loan deal expires

The young Derby County goalkeeper Ross Etheridge has returned to his parent club after his one-month agreement expired. Etheridge was brought into the club to cover for Ben Garratt but was allowed returned to the Rams after the club agreed to sign the more experienced Paul Rachubka on a short-term contract.

Etheridge sat on the first-team bench but didn’t make a senior appearance for the club. The 21-year-old played for the club’s Development squad whilst he was here and everyone wishes him well for the future.

With the news that Ben Garratt has suffered a fracture in his leg, Steve Davis will once again assess the market for a goalkeeper to offer competition and cover to Crewe’s new goalkeeper.
