Goalkeeper links up with the Alex until the end of the season

Goalkeeper Paul Rachubka has signed a permanent contract with Crewe Alexandra until the end of the current 2014/15 season.

The 33-year-old has been without a Club since leaving Oldham Athletic by mutual consent in January.

Rachubka has enjoyed a long-standing career, starting out as a trainee at Manchester United before moving to Charlton for £200,000 in 2002. After several loan spells, he joined Huddersfield Town permanently in 2004 before future spells at Blackpool, Leeds and then The Latics from summer 2013.

Paul will wear the number 44 shirt during his time at Gresty Road and will be available for the League One trip to Barnsley tomorrow as well as the trip to Macclesfield Town in the Cheshire Senior Cup on Tuesday night.
