Lauri targets three away points to follow on from success at Port Vale

Finnish striker Lauri Dalla Valle is hoping that he will be presented with another chance to stake his claim in Steve Davis’s first-team plans. The 23-year-old started his first game for the club since returning on a permanent basis and the hard working centre-forward is hoping to get the nod to face Colchester United at the weekend.


The former Fulham striker told Crewe Alex Player: “Everyone was disappointed to lose the game on Saturday, especially 5-0 at home but there are more games coming up and against those clubs in and around us, so we know we have an opportunity to get more points.



“When you play a team who is also struggling against relegation then it can be a double edge sword because you get the three points and they don’t get them.
