Alex suffer injury blow as goalkeeper suffers leg fracture

Crewe's head physio will be taking Garratt to a specialist tomorrow to see if the Alex number one will need an operation or not. We will bring you an up-date of that tomorrow.

Crewe Alexandra can confirm that goalkeeper Ben Garratt has suffered a fracture in his leg. The Alex goalkeeper was forced off against Barnsley on Saturday after struggling to take a goal kick in the second half of the club's 2-0 defeat at Oakwell. He was replaced by debutant Paul Rachubka.
