Inman and Coco back in trianing after being wrapped in cotton wool.

Crewe Alexandra’s wide men Brad Inman and Ryan Colclough will return to training today after being handed time to recover from some knocks last week. Without a fixture at the weekend, Steve Davis says his two forwards have had time to recover ahead of this weekend’s trip to Doncaster Rovers.

The Alex manager says that having a fully fit Inman and Colclough will be an added boost as we enter the busy Christmas period.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “Brad will train again today and the same will apply to Ryan. We have had to be careful with Ryan because he has been feeling his hamstring.

“It has been a busy time for the medical department with all the injuries we have had. They have been working overtime to make sure our players are looked after. It is the right thing to do and we have always done.

“The ones who need a game against Sheffield United today will play, but that doesn’t apply to Brad and Ryan. They just needed some time to recover.

He added: “Brad has not trained for a couple of weeks and the rest would have done him good.”
