Lowe Would Like To Extend Loan Deal

24 December 2015

Ryan Lowe says he would like to stay with Crewe as he gains regular football in twight light of his career.

and Alex boss Steve Davis has already gone on record to say he would like the 37-year-old veteran to remain at Gresty Road.thOn loan forward Ryan Lowe says that he would happily remain at Crewe Alexandra on loan if something can be decided between the Railwaymen and his current club Bury. Lowe’s current loan agreement ends on January 5

Ahead of the festive games, Lowe told the club’s official web-site: “The four months past has in the back of my head now and I just want to look forward. I’ve always got the bit between my teeth and I want to do well wherever I am.

“It shows in the emotion when you score goals. Whether it’s in the back garden with my little lad, Sunday league or as a pro, you’re always want to score and play for points.

“It’s a tough one really. I’ve been sent out on loan and you can look at it either way, is it to get games or is it because you’re not wanted at your club.

“As far as I’m concerned I feel my future is away from Bury at this moment in time. They’re doing so well at the minute and the strikers are scoring goals and the manager has got them rallied up.

“It’s up to my representative to speak to Bury – I love the Club and I always will – but I think it’s time to move on. Hopefully we can strike a deal with Crewe because there’s only one place I’d rather go from Bury and that’s here.

“I’m an emotional character. I play with my heart on my sleeve and that’s the way I was brought up on the streets of Liverpool and with Sunday football. I’m trying to tell a few of these young lads that they’ve got it good at the minute.

Ryan added: “I am coming to the end of my career, but I’ve got a target in there that I spoke about when I came and I also just want to help this football club get out the bottom half of the table and that would be an achievement in itself to keep Crewe in this league.”
