Boss says Ryan Lowe's influence has helped the youngsters inside the Alex dressing room.
Ryan Lowe has surpassed even the manager’s expectations since signing on loan from Bury. The 37-year-old has scored two important goals to win the game late on at Colchester United and then gave us the lead against Fleetwood Town on Saturday before his early goal was cancelled out by David Ball.
Steve Davis has been delighted with his infectious enthusiasm out on the pitch but says he has been a terrific role model for the younger players off the pitch as well.
Steve told the club’s official web-site: “Lowey has been terrific from the moment he has come in. He has that great experience but he has used that to influence our young players. They have great respect for Ryan and what he has achieved in the game.
“He has done it over many years and has had a good career. He has done well for us and his influence has rubbed off on others.
“He still possesses that real hunger and desire to do well every day and in every game. It is that determination to do well all the time that has taken him to a higher level.”
