Steve Davis says his players will pick themselves up quickly after Donny defeat.
Steve Davis has admitted to having a sleepless night on Saturday following the cruel ending to our trip to the Keepmoat Stadium, but the Alex boss said that the players were very responsive in training yesterday and they are already looking forward to this weekend’s home fixture against Fleetwood Town.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “I had a sleepless night on Saturday but with football you have to quickly move on. We are all focussed on the Fleetwood game and if we can get three wins out of four then that would be a great return.
“Everyone was disappointed with what happened on Saturday. I went through it again on Sunday, especially the end of the game and as a manager you ask questions of yourself and what you can do differently. I watched the incidents and I am unsure why we ended up playing six minutes of stoppage time. Only the officials will know that.
“When they took the throw in for the third goal, it was a foul throw and the linesman was five yards from it. He had his foot on the board and didn’t have both feet on the floor so it should have been our throw in their half of the pitch, but it happens and you have to get on with it.
He added: “We can’t change it now and we have to move on. We can learn from it and perhaps we could have put another defender on to play centrally. I could have moved Jon into the middle and played Perry NG at left back or taken one of the forwards off but it is something we will look at and improve on.”
