Coco Feeling Good For Festive Period

23 December 2015

Ryan Colclough feels he is returning to his best after having regular football this season.

Ryan Colclough believes he is beginning to show his past form after having a successful run of games under this belt. The Academy graduate currently tops the goalscoring charts with six goals and he has chipped in with a number of assists. Most recently, his creativity unlocked the Doncaster Rovers defence twice to see Marcus Haber and Callum Saunders score.

The Stoke-on-Trent forward has hit a rich vein of form of late and continues to be our number one match winner.

Ryan is just pleased to be playing regularly again and contributing to the team in the final third of the pitch.

Coco told us: “I am feeling good and my fitness is always improving. I am enjoying my football again. I have been able to put a run of games together and I’ve got to keep it going.

“I think staying at Crewe has helped me. I have worked hard to get back and I think I am beginning to get back to some sort of level I was at before I was out. The run of games has helped with that and they always look after me here and work with me every day. It is like a family here at Crewe and I am enjoying it. I want to repay the club for the faith they showed in me.

“I do feel my form has been good this season and I have been dangerous in the games but there is room for improvement, like there is in all of us. I just need to keep on working hard with the coaches and take that into the games more often.

Ryan added: “My aim is to play well, score goals and help the team get points. I do have personal targets in relation to how many goals I would like to score but I just want to help the team do well and if my goals or assists can help us do that, then that will do for me.”
