Boss Delighted With Lowe Impact

Steve Davis has praised the influence Ryan Lowe has made both on and off the pitch.


Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis has been pleased with the impact the veteran striker Ryan Lowe has made since signing on loan from Bury. Lowe, 37, scored a dramatic injury time winner against Colchester on his second debut for the club and he then helped us defeat Oldham 1-0 at Gresty Road with Adam King grabbing the only goal of the game.


Davis says that the arrival of the experienced striker has helped both on and off the pitch.


The boss told crewealex.net: “Ryan has a wealth of experience and he knows how to adapt to different systems and what we need from him. That is the difference between an experienced player and a development player.


“We can ask Ryan to do a job for the team and he will know exactly what to do. He has played for various clubs and in different formations and he knows how to adjust to tactical changes because he has done it before.


The boss added: “He knows the positions and that us the major difference. A younger player may do it With Ryan he will just do it and that comes with experience. It becomes easy for him to adjust. “  sometimes and sometimes they may not.
