Steve Davis says he has seen Fleetwood more than any other League One side this season because of Joe's loan.
Due to his son’s loan deal at Fleetwood, Steve Davis has seen Fleetwood Town more than anyone in League One this season.
Defender Joe Davis is currently on loan with the Cod Army from Leicester City and he is fully expected to face the Railwaymen at Gresty Road this weekend.
Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis told crewealex.net: “I go and watch Joe at Fleetwood whenever I can, so I have seen them four times and they are good, hard-working side. They are very organised and disciplined under Steven (Pressley) and he expects hard work from his players.
“He has made them harder to beat and has strengthened with some loan signings, with Joe being one of them.
He added: “It will be a tough game and we will have to match their work ethic. They will be looking to put more points between us but we are aware that three points for us would see us go above them, so the incentive is there. It is very important that we go out and try to win the game in front of our own fans.”
