Defender could be involved at Wigan this weekend.
Steve Davis has told crewealex.net that club captain Harry Davis will be under consideration for this weekend’s trip to Wigan Athletic. Davis has not started this season after acquiring a slight knee injury on the eve of the opening game of the season against Port Vale.
Davis successfully returned to training last week and has continued to train with no reaction this week.
The Alex boss told us: “It is good to have him back because of his consistency and ability to read the game.
“Harry has always been a good leader and organiser in the back four. He tends to make good defensive decisions.
He added: If he trains consistently well then he would be under consideration to be involved in Saturday. I will have to make a decision on that over the next couple of days because he hasn’t played a game yet because the Under-21 game too soon for him on Monday.” “He returned to training last week and was fine and he has stepped that up this week.
