Crewe delighted as young starlet signs new two-year deal.
Crewe Alexandra Football Club is delighted to announce that Ryan Colclough has this afternoon penned a new two-year contract with the club to take him through to the summer of 2017.
The 20-year-old has agreed to extend his stay with the Railwaymen after originally joining the Academy as a 7-year old and he will continue to wear the number 27 shirt. Colclough would be available for this weekend's League One clash with Port Vale.
Colclough returned from a hip injury to help Crewe Alexandra to escape relegation last season. He scored a superb late winning goal at Bramall Lane in a much-needed 2-1 win and followed that up with a goal and an assist in a 3-1 away win at Coventry City.
Despite his absence through injury, the Stoke-on Trent born winger has amassed 38 first-team appearances, scoring five goals.
