Alex delighted to be keeping experienced goalkeeping coach.

Crewe Alexandra are delighted to confirm that the vastly experienced goalkeeping coach Fred Barber is back at the club and working with our goalkeepers.

Barber has worked closely with the club’s senior and youth goalkeepers ever since previously coach Scott Shearer joined Burton Albion on loan in January.

 Steve Davis was determined to keep Barber this summer and fortunately for us, the former Bolton and Northern Ireland coach was unable to commit to a similar position at Blackpool and he will be staying with us.
