Steve Davis says his focus will remain on what we need to do.
Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis says he will be setting his team up to end the season with a victory this weekend. Crewe need a point to secure their League One status but Davis says his players will be approaching the game looking to get the three points.
Crewe fans and members of the staff will be keeping one eye on matches elsewhere just in case of the possibility of the scenario changing but Davis says he will firmly be focussed on our game.
Steve told the club’s official web-site: “We set up to win the game Coventry. We had to try and get the three points and keep them involved in it. With some results going against us as well, those three points became even more vital.
“We will look to do the same on Saturday. We want to go out there and win the game first and then see what happens from there.
“I didn’t have a clue about the results last weekend until the last few minutes. I think Tatey was keeping an eye on things on his phone. I am sure we will be kept informed of what is happening this weekend.”
