Under 21's end season with a draw in the sun at Reaseheath

Crewe Alexandra's Under 21 side finished their league season with a 1-1 at home to Sheffield Wednesday.

Callum Saunders was sent through one-on-one to score for the Alex but the Owls also netted to mean a share of the points.

There was promising news for youngster Fraser Murdoch, who came on for the final 15 minutes for his first action of the season after suffering a cruciate injury towards the end of his scholarship.

Matt Tootle and Uche also started the Alex.
