Alan Tate targets another three points as club prepare for Crawley meeting
Alan Tate says that the Crewe Alexandra dressing room was buzzing following our 2-1 win at Bramall Lane last weekend but the on-loan Swansea defender admits that the result was quickly forgotten come Monday morning.
The experienced centre-half says the Alex players are only focussing on one game at a time as we target the necessarily points to be safe in League One.
Ahead of our Good Friday fixture with Crawley, Alan told Crewe Alex Player: “I don’t think you really rest on anything, you play the game and you win, you look back on it, you lose you look back on it – but whatever happens you can’t replay it again so we’ve gone there and got a good result and now we’re looking to move on and pick up another one.
“The lads came in buzzing after the Sheffield United game. It’s a tough place to go. I’ve found that throughout my career having been there a few times. Coming back with a result like that and looking to see how the others around us got on as well and luckily for the results went ok, so we’ve got to kick-on and make the most of the next few games coming up.
“The Crawley game is a massive game – because it’s the next one I’m going to play. It’s just like any other game really, I’m not really one to look back or look past the next one and this game is the biggest.”
