Ness rated as 50/50 for Coventry clash
Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that he will give his on-loan midfielder Jamie Ness as long as possible to prove his fitness. Ness is fighting to be fit to travel to Coventry tomorrow and make his way on to the team-sheet. He has missed the last two games after sustaining a calf strain against Leyton Orient.
Steve told crewealex.net: “Jamie has worked hard all week to try and make it and we will give him as long as possible. You want your best players to be out there and he has been one of most influential players this season, so we will see how he feels tomorrow before I( make that final decision.
“Ness is still a doubt. He is touch and go but there is still a chance that he could be with us and we’ll have to see when the team-sheet comes out.
“It will be my decision. I will speak to Jamie for his thoughts and we will go right to the end with him because I know how hard he has worked this week to try and get back and how important he can be for us.”
