What the press made of the vital victory at the Ricoh

The Sentinel
CREWE go in to the final day two points clear of the relegation zone after a stunning win at the Ricoh Arena.
The Alex took a 2-0 lead at the break thanks to close range finishes from Lauri Dalla Valle and Ryan Colclough.
They had to soak up some Coventry pressure after the break but added to their lead in the game’s final quarter as Marcus Haber nodded home at the far post from Ollie Turton’s cross.
Even Nick Proschwitz’s late header couldn’t deny Steve Davis’ side yet another away day to remember in Coventry.

The Chronicle
Crewe Alex took a huge three points with an excellent team performance at Coventry City on Saturday.
Goals from Lauri Dalla Valle, Ryan Colclough and Marcus Haber earned their first win at six and boosted their hopes of beating the drop.
Nick Proschwitz pulled one back towards the end but the Railwaymen held on for a memorable victory at the impressive Ricoh Arena.
Now, as they gear up for the final game of the season at home to Bradford next weekend, they protected their two-point cushion from the bottom four.

Coventry Telegraph
Coventry City will travel to Crawley Town on Sunday needing a point to guarantee their League One survival after a bitterly disappointing display against fellow strugglers Crewe.
The team with the worst scoring record in the division produced the perfect smash-and-grab away performance to complete a seasonal double against a City team who, yet again, failed to convert possession into goals at the Ricoh Arena.
And with most of the teams around them claiming positive results, they go into the final weekend just two places and two points above the drop zone.
