Marcus and James Jones set to miss Alex games after International call-ups
Crewe Alexandra’s joint leading scorer with three goals this season, Marcus Haber, has been called up for his Canada’s forthcoming friendly match with Colombia. The match will be taking place in New Jersey on 14th October and Marcus will be away from the club from Sunday 5th October, thus ruling him out our home game against Coventry City on 11th October.
There are no Under-21 fixtures over that weekend, so our home match against Coventry City will go ahead as planned. Only games from Under-21 level qualify for a possible postponement if three or more of your players are called up.
Promising youngster James Jones is also set to miss both the Bradford and Coventry matches following his International call-up for the Scotland Under-19s. Jones has been included in the Scotland squad for their European Championship qualifying match in Lithuania.
