Febian Brandy Joins On Loan

Rotherham winger links up with the Alex on short-term deal

Crewe Alexandra have completed the signing of Rotherham winger Febian Brandy on a one-month loan deal.

Brandy is set to link-up with his new team mates for training over the coming days and will be available for the trip to MK Dons on Saturday.

He started his career in the youth set-up at Manchester United and after a number of loan spells elsewhere he joined Notts County on a free transfer in February 2011.

After just a short stay at Meadow Lane he moved to Greece with Panetolikos in February 2012 but moved back to England and to Walsall in July that summer.

He found his feet in the Football League with the Saddlers in that 2012/13 campaign, making 37 appearances and scoring seven goals – enough to tempt Sheffield United to move for the winger.

Brandy made 15 appearances for the Blades last season, before being loaned back to Walsall in January where he made another 24 appearances.

He was released from his contract at Bramall Lane in the summer and Championship side Rotherham swooped for his signature, but he’s found games hard to come by and will be looking to make an impact at the Alexandra Stadium.
