Febian Brandy has a chance of making squad for Notts County visit after improvement in his calf
Crewe Alexandra could be handed a welcome boost ahead of the visit of Notts County on Tuesday night with the news that on-loan winger Febian Brandy has more of a chance of making it.
Brandy has been struggling with a calf strain since signing on loan for a month from Championship side Rotherham United. The winger missed the weekend’s home defeat to Colchester United but he is improving and has a chance of making the squad to face one of his former clubs.
Steve told the club’s official web-site: “Febian has been struggling with his calf muscle, ever since he came here. That has been a disappointment for us because he wants to play and we want to be out there and helping us.
“We have had a look at him and put him through his paces in training to see how the calf is and how it reacts. If it has improved and has responded well enough overnight then he will be under consideration for the squad.”
