Inman Given All-Clear

27 October 2014

Crewe forward undertook X-Ray on his neck following collision with Chris Basham

Bradden Inman was discharged from hospital on Saturday evening after undertaking an X-ray on his neck. The Crewe Alexandra forward was given the all clear after suffering a forceful clash of heads with Sheffield United defender Chris Basham during the club’s 1-0 defeat to the Blades.

As is protocol with head injuries of that nature, Inman was placed in a neck brace and was taken to stretcher him from the pitch. He was replaced by Billy Waters and the lengthy stoppage meant an extra ten minutes after normal time.

It is believed that Inman may have suffered mild concussion and Crewe Alexandra followed the implemented International rules in regards to players’ safety after suffering a serious head or neck injury.

Inman will again be assessed today by the club doctor Mike Freeman and only he will give permission for the Crewe forward to resume training this week.
