Crewe's new loan signing looks forward to getting more games under his belt
Danny Haynes is hoping he will get a chance to play football again after he signed on emergency loan for a month earlier today. Haynes has been granted permission to play this evening and could be named in the Crewe Alexandra squad to face Peterborough United.
Haynes has featured just twice for Notts County this season and he has not featured for a month in the first team but the 26-yead forward says he is fit and ready to help Crewe move out of the bottom four.
Danny told Crewe Alex Player: “I am pleased to have signed for Crewe and it is another new chapter for me. I am looking forward to it and it is exciting times. When I was told that Crewe were interested in taking him on loan for a month I jumped at the chance. It is a chance to come and hopefully play some games, express myself and help Crewe.
“The move did happen quickly. It was a bit of shock because I had gone into Notts County and was involved in a gym session when I was told that Crewe wanted to take me on loan for a month.
“I have not been able to play too much this season, so it will be nice to get back playing and if I get an opportunity here then I want to take it. It is an exciting opportunity and my fitness is okay. I have trained for three months and that has been going well, so I feel ready.
Danny added: “Hopefully I can come here and show my ability. I was being played more as a lone striker at Notts County and I’ve never been a loan striker so that was difficult and I found myself out of the team. “
