Ben Garratt tragets away points this weekend after Sheffield United set-back
.Alex goalkeeper Ben Garratt believes that if Crewe Alexandra can show the same determination and spirit they showed against Sheffield United at Crawley on Saturday then there is no reason why we cannot get back to winning ways
Garratt, who has held onto the number one spot for the majority of the season, appreciates that it will be another tough assignment at the Broadfield Stadium, but the 20-year-old goalkeeper stresses that confidence remains high in the Crewe dressing room.
Ben told Crewe Alex Player: “We stayed in the game right up until the end against Sheffield United and that is credit to the lads. They worked hard to remain in the game, especially when we went down to ten men and it was a shame that we couldn’t find that goal and get something out of it.
“Although we lost for the first time in four games there were still some positives we could take from the game because Sheffield United are one of the strongest teams in the league and are expected to be up there challenging for promotion.
“We have had two tough games against Peterborough and Sheffield United but I think we showed that we can give anybody a game on the day.
“All we can do is keep working hard. I think that hard work out on the training ground has made us harder to beat and if I’m honest I’ve not been that busy over the last few games and that is credit to the lads in front of me.
“I’ve been relatively happy with my recent form but I have to keep going and keep on improving.”
