Audel Loaned To Lincoln

French centre-half heads back to the Imps

Crewe Alexandra have loaned defender Thierry Audel to Lincoln City after the Frenchman enjoyed a similar spell at Sincil Bank last season.

The 27-year-old moves to the Imps until the 17th January, hitting the maximum 93-day period for an emergency loan.

Audel signed for the Alex in summer 2013 after impressing at Macclesfield, but found life tough at the Alexandra Stadium last season, making just two substitute appearances before being loaned to Lincoln in the January transfer window for the remainder of the campaign.

Thierry returned to the Alex in the summer to battle for a place in the team and broke into the side in September, coming on as a sub in the JPT loss to Rochdale before providing a man of the match display in the 1-1 draw at Yeovil and then having a day to forget in the 6-1 defeat at MK Dons. He hasn't featured since then and has now been allowed to return to Sincil Bank where he enjoyed his time last term.

We would like to wish Thierry all the best in his time away from the Club.
