Boss says if Crewe midfielder isn't involved for Scotland he could make Crewe squad

James Jones could still be under consideration for the Crewe Alexandra squad for tomorrow’s League One clash against Chesterfield if he is not involved too much in Scotland’s Under-19s International match against Holland.

The game in Falkirk kicks off at 3pm this afternoon and if the Crewe midfielder does not start then manager Steve Davis may consider the teenager for his squad.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “James is with Scotland at the moment and their game is this afternoon. We thought it would be a good experience for him to go.

“If he isn’t involved or doesn’t play a big part in the game then we could consider him for tomorrow. Much will depend on how he feels but we will keep an eye on the game.”
