Crewe Alexandra have been drawn at home to 1874 Northwich in the First Round Proper of the Cheshire Senior Cup.

Neil Baker's side defeated Witton Albion 2-1 in the Preliminary Round at Gresty Road and have now been tasked with another home tie.

1874 Northwich is a fan-run-Club and, despite the name, was only formed in 2012 by a group of Northwich Victoria supporters who broke away to form a new club.

The team are currently riding high in the North West Counties Premier Division having enjoyed a fine start to the season, but received a bye in the preliminary round, so this is their first Cheshire Senior Cup tie this season.

The match must be played by the 16th January and we will announce details of the fixture when confirmed.
