Boss will have re-jig forward line after pair not granted permission to play in the FA Cup
Steve Davis will have to reshuffle his Crewe Alexandra team once again for the visit of Sheffield United in the FA Cup. The Alex host the Blades at the Alexandra Stadium on Saturday and Davis will have to re-jig his forward line as they have not been granted to play the on-loan Febian Brandy or Danny Haynes in the competition.
Crewe Alexandra has not received permission from Rotherham United or Notts County to play the two strikers in the FA Cup as their parent clubs do not want their players to be cup-tied.
Therefore, leading scorer Marcus Haber is likely to return to the starting line-up for the visit of Nigel Clough’s Blades with the likes of Brad Inman, Billy Waters and Callum Saunders all hoping for a start.
