Boss praise for improving Inman
Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis has praised the recent attacking contribution of Bradden Inman and he believes that all is lacking from the former Newcastle United trainee is another goal. Inman won the sponsors Man-of-the-Match award against Chesterfield recently and was ever so unlucky no to have scored at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night when his shot hit the post and rebounded to safety in our 2-0 FA Cup defeat.
Inman has been a threat in the final third over the last two games and Steve Davis says he is just looking for that little bit of improvement in front of goal.
The Crewe boss said: “I think Brad has been our most dangerous threat in the last two matches. He was certainly that in the second half against Chesterfield and he was unlucky to see his shot hit the post on Tuesday night. He was unfortunate not to score.
“Brad has been good and all he has to do is keep working hard to play better and reach the next level.
“We know the ability he possesses and all that has been lacking in the last two games has been that goal. If he can take one of those chances then I am sure that that confidence in front of goal with return.
“He has improved his defending and has done well for the team. He can contribute more because he is a potential match winner for us but the way he has played recently has been encouraging.”
