Saunders receives cap after Wales Under-19 performances

Saunders is one of six Academy scholars to have been offered professional terms with the club this summer.

Saunders has been in prolific form for Crewe's youth Team and Under-18s this season and his goalscoring ability saw him called into the Under-21 side on occasions. Saunders helped the club reach the final of the Professional Development League II Final but they unfortunately finished runners-up to Huddersfield Town after a penalty shoot-out defeat. Saunders scored in the 3-3 draw.

It is congratulations to our Under-18 striker Callum Saunders for his Wales Under-19 season cap. The Crewe Alexandra striker was capped twice at this level and receives the recognition cap for his involvement with Geraint Williams' squad.
