Grant back from ban. Oliver and Moore fully fit after illness.

Combative midfield player Anthony Grant returns from his one-match suspension tomorrow. Grant missed Tuesday’s 3-1 home defeat by Notts County following two late bookings away at Gillingham. Club captain Abdul Osman was recalled to the side alongside George Evans and the availability of Grant now means Steve Davis has a choice to make between his three central midfielders.

Crewe are definitely without Harry Davis (knee) and the recovering Max Clayton (ankle) and Ryan Colclough (hernia) for the visit of Coventry City.

Striker Vadaine Oliver has shaken off his recent bout of tonsillitis, whilst winger Byron Moore has recovered from the slight knock he picked up playing for the Under-21s away at Barnsley on Monday. The winger has also been struggling with a heavy cold earlier in the week but has resumed training after shaking it off.

Moore was not risked on the substitutes bench for the Notts County clash with Steve Davis electing to go with young Billy Waters following his hat-trick against the Tykes.
