Steve Davis impressed with Ferguson's play-off hopefuls

Steve Davis has told crewealex.net that Peterborough United is one of the best teams in League One. Darren Ferguson’s side are currently sixth in League One and will be looking to hold onto a play-off place in the business end of the season.

Crewe will be looking for the points at London Road for different reasons and Davis appreciates it will be another tough encounter against Ferguson’s side.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “On their day Peterborough are as good as anyone in the division. They are a very good side and have Championship players.

“They were unlucky to be relegated and will be hoping to bounce back at the first attempt. They are certainly good enough in what is a tight division. Nothing is decided yet.

“We have a tough March coming up. After this month we will have a much better idea of where we are going to be. We have games coming up against those in-and-around us. “
