Park Will Be Useful Asset

5 March 2014

Boro winger will benefit from full week of training

Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that Cameron Park will prove to be a useful asset once he regains the necessary match fitness and sharpness. The Scotland Under-21 International has only featured for Middlesborough’s Development squad this season and has been eager to get out on loan for some competitive action.

Following a hip injury to Bradden Inman, Park was quickly introduced against Swindon and played almost an hour of our 1-1 draw.

Davis says that the talented winger will just need some time to fit into a different style.

The Alex boss told crewealex.net: “It will just take Cameron a bit of time to fit into a different style of play and to get up to speed with it all. This week will allow him to train and see what we do.

“He showed glimpses of his ability in the game at the weekend and has been decent in training. He has shown some real skill and quality and I’m sure he is pleased to come out and get some regular football.

“He is probably not used to the level of intensity that is needed to be play first-team football at this level but he will get up to speed and will be a good asset for us.”
