Boss says he is unlikely to bring anyone else in on loan ahead of the final deadline

March. Despite having eight players missing last week for the games away at Stevenage and at home to Swindon Town, the Alex boss has only added the Middlesborough winger Cameron Park to his squad on a one-month loan deal.thCrewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis says that it is unlikely that he will look to bring anyone else in on loan before the final deadline on 27

Davis has given his own a chance to impress with youngster Liam Nolan starting the last two games in central midfield and the likes of Billy Waters and Vadaine Oliver grabbing their chance with both hands with impressive substitute appearances against Swindon on Saturday.

Steve may look to bring in an emergency goalkeeper if anything was to happen to his first choice Ben Garratt or back-up Steve Phillips, as to not be left short for the crucial run-in.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “We are not really looking at bringing anyone else in before the deadline. Of course, if the situation was to change with the two goalkeepers then I would have to consider that.

“We have enough loan players in the club and our focus will be on getting some of our injured players back as soon as possible. I think we will look a lot healthier when we train tomorrow.”
