Goalkeeper says Crewe shouldn't fear anyone in League One as we get set for important Month

Garratt is back in goal following a thigh injury to the on-loan Neil Etheridge and is looking to cement his place as the manager’s number one as we enter the crucial stage of the season.  The club’s number one goalkeeper Ben Garratt says that his team-mates are looking forward to facing play-off hopefuls Peterborough United this weekend.

Garratt told Crewe Alex player that every player likes to face the top teams in the division.

Ben told Crewe Alex Player: “I don’t think we fear any team in the league. We have shown that on our day we can give anyone a game and we were 2-0 up against Peterborough earlier in the season.

“They showed their quality that day by getting a draw and we know it will be difficult again but we are looking forward to it. We know that they have talented players and were many people’s favourites to win promotion after being relegated last season.

“We are preparing right and go into every game with confidence because we know if we perform to our potential then we can beat anyone on our day. We will just focus on what we need to do to get a result.

“I just want to keep on improving as a goalkeeper. I am learning all the time and I think I am only getting better because of the experience.”
