Harry Davis progressing well from knee injury
Harry Davis is on target to be fit for the club’s pre-season. The 22-year centre-half suffered a knee ligament injury in March and missed the tail end of what was a consistent season for the centre-half. The Burnley-born defender underwent surgery following the injury and has continued his rehabilitation throughout the closed season.
Davis is hoping to be involved in some of the club’s pre-season matches in July in readiness for the new season.
Steve Davis told the club’s official web-site: “Harry is doing well. He does still have a bit of swelling but he is doing a lot of work in the gym. He has been able to walk around without any trouble and we are hopeful he will be able to stat some running when Rob (Sharp) comes back.
“We are hopeful that he’ll be able to join in at some point in the pre-season.”
