Match Winning Inman

30 January 2014

Brad has developed into game-changer in second half of the season

.Arguably Crewe’s most consistent performer since Christmas, Brad Inman, is hoping that his outstanding form can continue in the second half of the season. The Australian wide man has certainly contributed a lot in the club’s mini-revival by creating goals and adding to his own goal tally with a well-taken strike against Rotherham in a 4-2 defeat. Inman’s form has been a major factor in our recent run of results and improved performances that have really stemmed from our local derby with Port Vale back in November

Crewe may have slipped to a narrow 1-0 defeat at Tranmere last weekend, but Inman is confident that we can bounce back with a positive display against fellow strugglers Sheffield United this weekend.

Ahead of our crucial meeting with the Blades, Brad told crewealex.net: “We felt a bit hard done by at Tranmere last time out because we felt that we did enough in the second half to have got something out of it.

“We were all disappointed afterwards but that can happen in football and you just have to look forward and try and get a result in the next game.

“If we can play like we did at Rotherham and against the MK Dons then there is no reason why we cannot get something out of the Sheffield United game, especially at home. The way we have played since the Port Vale game has been encouraging and we shouldn’t be going into any game with any fear.

Brad added: “On a personal level it is just good to be back and helping the team with some assists and it was nice to get a goal against Rotherham. I hope there will be more to come from me and the team.”
