Keep up to date on anything happening on deadline day

Its deadline day and we will keep you right up to date if there are going to be any ins and outs at Gresty Road. Alex boss Steve Davis has gone on record to say that he would like to sign a goalkeeper to replace the departed Alan Martin and provide competition for the number one spot. The Fulham goalkeeper Neil Etheridge has been mentioned as a possible loan signing but he has been struggling with a recurrence of his thigh injury in recent weeks.

With Ryan Colclough out injured for at least another three weeks following surgery, Davis would also like to sign a winger to provide cover for wide men Brad Inman and Bryon Moore.

Crewe have not received any bids for any of their main assets, but look like allowing another of our fringe players leave on loan later today. Of course, anything can happen on deadline day with the doors slamming shut at 11pm.
